This Is Not A Joke
I realize it’s April Fool’s Day, so anything that is announced today will be scrutinized to make sure it’s legitimate. There have already been a couple blogs that threw up the requisite “I’ve been hacked” pages, and Google has introduced their latest offering (thanks, DaveN).
However, I can assure you that WageRank’s new look is here to stay.
I finally caved and decided it was time for me to outsource my design work. Sure, it cost me some money out of pocket, but it’s money well spent. It allowed me to focus my time on some other projects where my programming skills are more effective, and the design looks 100x better than anything I could put together.
I’m very happy with it.
I added a couple new sections on the left hand side. There is now a “Newbie Corner” with some articles targeted to those who are new to the industry. For those that have been around the block, I’ve put up some of my more “Advanced” posts right below there. There’s also a rather empty “Experiments” section which will remind me I need to do more experimenting every time I look at it.
I also added two bubbles at the top that will feature some of my recent posts. If your RSS Reader looks like mine, you’ll notice that I blatantly stole this idea from Matt at Net Business Blog. Imitation is, after all, the sincerest form of flattery…
If you notice any hiccups please let me know. If you have ideas on how I can better feature the content I’d like to hear that as well.
