Wordze API PHP Script

I’ve been using Wordze for about a month now and I have been very happy with their service. The qualities I look for in a keyword tool are speed, diversity of keywords, number of keywords, and an easy-to-use API.

Wordze delivers on all fronts.

To be honest, I haven’t really scratched the surface of all the features that Wordze offers because I haven’t been doing that much WH keyword research lately. I do, however, sleep a little more soundly knowing that when I do need those tools they’re right at my fingertips. I plan on using several (if not all) of Wordze’s tools when I finally start my 2007 resolution to break into affiliate marketing.

What I am using Wordze for is to gather keywords for MFA sites. The monthly subscription gives you 3000 keyword queries per day, where each query will deliver up to 100 results. To give you an idea of how much work you can get done, I’ve built over 300 sites in one day and not come close to the limit.

I chose Wordze over other services like Wordtracker because I didn’t want to get my keywords from the same source as everyone else. Keywords are 90% of the MFA business and if you harvest the keywords that nobody else is using it is very easy to make money. Using the free tools offered by Wordtracker and Overture is asking for trouble because you have to compete with everyone else who is using those tools.

The API for Wordze is incredibly simple when compared to the competition. I tried Wordtracker about a year ago and found their API cumbersome and unintuitive. If you’ve already learned how to submit forms with PHP, using the Wordze API will be easy.

I created a small script that reads in keywords from a file and creates a text file for each keyword filled with all the results from Wordze. You can see it here.

All you need to do is copy and paste that code into a file with a php extension (wordze.php, for example), add your Wordze API key, create a file named keywords.txt with one keyword per line in the same directory, and run the script.

If you haven’t signed up for Wordze yet and plan on using my script, please consider joining through my Wordze affiliate link.

Hey, just got a trial with your aff link. Playng with the script and trying to change its behaviour. Trying to get it to write results all to keywords.txt file and not create new files. Then get script to cycle through new results performing searches. Have been playing with it but I am no coder. If this works I will get a monthly wrdze subscription through your link.
No matter thanks heaps.

Thanks. I’ve been looking for something good that can quickly do a preg_match_all on this. Wonderfully done script.
